Yin Qiao (Chiao) for Treating Sore Throat and Head Cold

We love to use this wonderful mixture of Chinese herbs whenever we feel the onset of a cold or flu. This is also a great multi-purpose supplement that will benefit the general well-being of your body!

Made of all-natural Chinese herbs: 

  • Japanese Honeysuckle Flower (Jīn Yín Huā): Clears heat and dispels toxicity. Dispels wind-heat derived from an external pathogen. 

  • Forsythia Fruit (Lián Qiáo): Expels heat and toxicity from the blood. Dispels external wind-heat. Reduces lumps and swollen lymph nodes. 

  • Mentha Herb (Bò Hé): Clears wind-heat from the head, eyes, and throat. Allows the release of toxins from the skin. Moves stagnant liver qi. i

  • Chinese Licorice Root (Gān Cǎo): Tonifies the basal qi and nourishes the spleen qi. Moistens the Lungs, expels phlegm and stops coughing.  

  • Burdock Fruit (Niú Bàng Zi): This allows the release of toxicity from the surface and clears heat. Reduces swelling and lubricates the intestines. Relieves sore throat.

  • Schizonepeta Herb (Jīng Jiè): Relieves the Exterior and disperses cold or heat. Reduces swelling. 

  • Prepared Soybean Seed (Dan Dou Chi): Eliminates irritability, harmonizes the middle jiao, and relieves stuffy sensations in the chest. 

  • Lophantherum Herb (Dàn Zhú Yè): Clears heat and aids thirst. Aids urination and drains damp-heat.

  • Balloon-flower root (Jié Gěng): Opens the lungs and smoothes the flow of lung qi. Expels phlegm and pus from the lungs and throat. 

Directions:

Adults and children 12 years and older: Take 6 tablets every 4 hours, no more than 36 tablets in 24 hours.

Children 6 to under 12 years: Take 3 tablets every 4 hours, no more than 18 tablets in 24 hours.
