Ear Seeds and Your Sex Drive
It’s no secret, we love ear seeds. Not only are ear seeds super cute to wear, making every day a little bit sparklier, but ear seeds promote an immense amount of healing and can even stimulate sexual pressure points to ramp up your sex drive. Before we get into how ear seeds can improve your libido, here’s a quick overview on what ear seeds are and how they provide treatment.
How Do Ear Seeds Work?
Auricular (ear) acupuncture aka acupressure in your ear is a diagnostic treatment system based on normalizing the body’s dysfunction through the stimulation of a point on the ear. Stimulation of a reflex point can relieve symptoms throughout the entire body. This practice can be done with hair-thin needles, ear seeds, or finger pressure. The ear is considered to be a whole microsystem in regards to acupuncture and in fact, The World Health Organization has standardized 39 points on the ear and labeled 10 as ‘master points.’ When you apply pressure to these points within the ear, you can treat a variety of health issues such as:
Allergies
Anxiety
Arthritis
Chronic pain
Constipation
Depression
Insomnia
Libido
Low back pain
Migraines
Trauma
Irritable bowel syndrome
And because Valentine's Day is coming up, we’re here to help you boost your libido naturally and teach you all about how ear seeds can stimulate your ear for extra sex drive and ultimately, improve your sexual health.
How do ear seeds boost sex drive?
Essentially, by applying acupressure in the ear, the nerve connections of those ear points send messages to the brain which release hormones such as endorphins. Endorphins not only release those warm, good mood vibes, but they also directly effect the sex drive. It’s a win, win for all!
Sexual Pressure Points
To use ear seeds to boost your libido, you’ll want to focus on two specific points.
The Sexual Desire Point is found on the helix root where the ear leaves the face and connects to the superior edge of the tragus. This acupressure point boosts sexual arousal and increases your libido. It’s an exposed point, meaning it’s on the outside of the ear and we’ll be able to visibly see your ear seed.
The Excitement Point is located on the inside wall of the antitragus, right below the apex. With this ear point activated, your cerebral cortex will light up and help with any sexual impairment that may be impacting you. Note: this point is non-exposed, meaning it’s on the inside wall of the ear.
